WELCOME TO INGEBORGS ART

"Though born in Dresden/Germany in 1922, I chose to live on the West Coast of Canada where I arrived in 1952 and stayed to this day. My main subject matter is the human figure and face, however,

I also enjoy doing florals and landscapes. And I strive to convey the essence and the mood of my subjects and/or subject matter. Therefore, I am never driven by any particular style or fad: my expressions are foremost sincere but always striving for perfection. I work in charcoal, conté, pastel and oil and I am most concerned with the backgrounds  for my drawings/paintings. And -- I work from life only and, like Manet, portray what I see!"
